No, this isn't exactly a 'Christmas/holidays' picture. I need to update all of you on our new resident here in the Enchanted Hollow--this little girl/boy. I named her/him 'Stripe', and I think Stripe is an abandoned orphan kitty.
We started seeing her roaming around our two acres recently. I'm pretty sure she isn't full grown yet. I don't think she's ever been inside and she isn't being taken care of. We have been feeding her and Albert is currently in the garage making a temporary shelter for her/him out of a very large cooler and an old towel. I just did a consult and our Maggie had to act as test kitty. : ) The door on the 'shelter' isn't big enough. Back to the garage. This pic shows Stripe out back near the delapidated horse shed thing.
I would love to try to 'bring her in', the way we did with our beloved Tiger, but Albert doesn't want the expense of a fourth cat child. : ( To be fair, I'm not sure if Stripe would tolerate a conversion to a life inside. She isn't that old, though, so it might work. We'll see. If I had to bet, I would say we will have a fourth kitty living here with us INSIDE within the next few months. : )
